Superior Traction for Skid Steer Demolition Tires
When you are operating a skid steer for demolition traction is extremely important. A good tire can increase efficiency and lower cost/hr.
Traction on the EWRS-AT and the EWRS-HS comes from two things, the core geometry and, of course, the tread design. The core geometry is designed to compress like a pneumatic tire to be able to flex around objects increasing traction however it doesn’t have the pneumatic bounce.
The tread is what separates these two tires. The EWRS-AT is designed with chevron lugs however these lugs are the largest in the industry. Because of their size, we were able to get rid of the center wear bar vastly increasing the wear life of the tire and creating better traction for longer.
The EWRS-HS tread pattern is uniquely designed for hard surface applications. The tread pattern is bi-directional, has a larger surface area and the tread depth comes in at 52/32”. It is also designed to be a perfect rolling circle with a flat profile for the smoothest ride possible.
Outdoor Demolition
severe-duty applications require severe-duty tires. The EWRS-AT is designed specifically for these applications. Outdoor demolition is extremely rough on tires. The sharp debris eats through pneumatic tires causing flats and expensive downtime. The solution is a solid tire like the EWRS-AT
The EWRS-AT tire is a solid tire that will never go flat. They are built with unique core geometry that allows for flexibility similar to a pneumatic tire for traction and comfortability. The large lugs and void space allow for unmatched traction, material cleanout, and wear life.
Interior Demolition
Interior demolition is severe similar to outdoor demolition however hard surfaces add another level of abrasiveness. The EWRS-HS is specially designed to handle these applications. The tires are made with a specialized tread pattern that has a larger surface area to minimize wear.
The tire is also designed as a perfect rolling circle. This allows the tire to skid smoothly without bouncing when turning to limit driver fatigue. That being said, the void space in the tread design increases traction so that the tire can still grip the ground.
serviceability
Both the EWRS-AT and the EWRS-HS are serviceable tires. The tires are made in rubber segments that allow the operator to easily remove and replace them within minutes when needed. All you need is a 3/4 inch wrench and an extra segment.
