Best Tires to Run a Skid Steer Mulcher Attachment

When operating a skid steer with a Mulcher attachment, the right set of tires can make a world of difference for the operator.

The EWRS-AT is specifically designed for longevity and comfortability when operating on off-road and muddy surfaces. Built with the largest lugs in the game and core geometry it compresses like a pneumatic without the bounce and bucking while also increasing traction.

Why Traction Is Important When Running a Skid Steer Mulcher Attachment

Traction is the name of the game when operating a skid steer with a mulcher attachment. These machines operate in muddy conditions that require traction and a tire that is puncture-proof. The EWRS-AT tire has superior traction to traditional pneumatic tires on the market. Because the EWRS-AT has the biggest lugs in the game, we were able to get rid of the center wear bar to maximize wear life without losing traction.

Benefits of a Larger Lug

Large lugs mean more traction. By increasing the lug size on our EWRS-AT tire we were able to design a tire without the need for a center wear bar. Because of the larger lug size, we were also able to limit the number of lugs on the tire to maximize material cleanout. Getting rid of the center wear bar and decreasing the number of lugs on the tire allows for a much longer wear life and better traction for the operator.

A Comfortable Ride

The EWRS-AT is designed to compress like a pneumatic tire without the bounce. Through the use of unique core geometry, we were able to create a solid skid steer tire that provides compression without causing a bounce.

Serviceability

The EWRS-AT is a serviceable tire. The tire is designed with rubber segments that bolt onto the steel rim so you can easily switch out a segment when needed. all you need is a 3/4 inch wrench and a few minutes.

Though the EWRS-AT is easily serviceable, the rubber is made with a premium rubber compound so you can expect to get 3-5 times the lifespan of your standard pneumatic skid steer tire.
