EWRS-AT & EWRS-HS NON MARKING SERIES
The EWRS-AT-NM & EWRS-HS-NM series of non marking solid bobcat tires were designed to meet the needs of today's job site demands. We came up with a way to offer you serviceability, traction and a comfortable ride all in one!
The EWRS-AT-NM series of all terrain non marking solid bobcat tires are specifically designed for customers who need additional traction in mud, sand, and uneven terrain. The EWRS-HS-NM series of hard surface non marking solid bobcat tires master hard surfaces such as concrete, asphalt and general hard even surfaces.
With serviceable non marking solid bobcat tires sections, the need for a service truck and specialized technicians is all but eliminated. We have reduced your service tooling down to only a 3/4" wrench in your operator's back pocket and repair parts are readily available in your nearest onsite storage container or in the toolbox of your pickup.
We spared no expense in creating this product and weren't afraid to bring you the largest tread lugs in the industry for serious traction and a long wear life. By reducing the number of lugs on a skid steer tire, we were able to increase the width and height of each lug so we could get rid of the wear bars running through the centre of any other skid steer tire you're going to see on the market. This gave us two things: large voids in our tread pattern allowing for unmatched material clean out, and a long wear life on our bigger lug.
To make this product the total package, we topped it off by engineering a smooth ride into our design. We worked hard to bring you a proprietary rubber compound that would allow enough compression to reduce operator fatigue and stand up to heavy loads. Did we mention that the compound is also designed so that it won't stress crack? Only a premium compound would do for a premium product, that's the Evolution Wheel standard.

Non Marking Solid Bobcat Tires
Having the right tool for the job is key to success in any business and can significantly expand business opportunities, improve performance, decrease downtime and reduce overall costs. All of which are key to success in any business.
In certain applications, black marks from solid bobcat tires left on concrete surfaces can lead to difficulties. This is why non marking solid bobcat tires option for your machines is very beneficial. When it comes to bobcat tires, there’s are two options for you to choose from: (1) regular solid bobcat tires or (2) non marking solid bobcat tires. Your decision between the two will largely depend on the applications your bobcat tires will be used in. Everyone is familiar with traditional, black marking solid bobcat tires. But non marking solid bobcat tires are not well known to users even though they can be very important and even vital in certain applications. Let's take a closer look at the purpose, make up, and characteristics of non marking solid bobcat tires.
The Purpose of Non Marking Solid Bobcat Tires
As their name suggests, the purpose of non marking solid bobcat tires is to make sure the tires don’t leave marks on concrete or concrete-type surfaces on which your solid bobcat tires are working on. In most cases, non marking solid bobcat tires are used in warehouse or indoor uses as opposed to being exposed to rugged terrain and hard environmental elements. Non marking solid bobcat tires are common in applications such as the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors which, per hygiene regulations, don’t allow black marks on concrete floors. Another advantage of non marking solid bobcat tires is cost and time savings as when non marking solid skid steer tires are working on light colored floors, they eliminate the amount of time and money spent on remove unpleasant black marks off of floors.
What are Non Marking Bobcat Tires Made Of?
Traditional solid bobcat tires and non marking solid bobcat tires differ in material composition. Standard solid bobcat tires are made of black carbon which non only gives them their black color, but helps to reduce heat caused by friction. Black carbon also leads to increasing wear life. Non marking solid bobcat tires are comprised of a mixture of synthetic rubber and silica. The silica replaces the black carbon found in traditional tires that is responsible for making the black marks. Because of the composition of the tire, non marking solid bobcat tires are normally lighter in color; commonly white or light gray. Despite this standard, non marking solid bobcat tires can be made in any color that the rubber maker or tire manufacturer wants.
Characteristics of Non Marking Solid Bobcat Tires
The key characteristics of non marking solid bobcat tires include:
- Excellent traction
- Low rolling resistance
- Low heat build-up
- Non marking
- Same performance as traditional tires
- Have a slightly shorter life-span than traditional tires
- Require the use of grounding straps due to their lack of anti-static properties
Standard Marking Solid Bobcat Tires vs Non Marking Solid Bobcat Tires
Now let's take a look at the main differences between standard marking solid bobcat tires and non marking solid bobcat tires. The most evident difference between the two is that non marking solid bobcat tires don’t leave marks on concrete or other floor surfaces whereas standard solid bobcat tires will mark. There are also other prominent differences between the two. First, non marking solid bobcat tires tend to be more expensive than standard bobcat tires. This is essentially because of the fact that the carbon black in standard solid bobcat tire compound is cheaper compared to non marking ingredients.
Another variance is that standard solid bobcat tires have UV protection properties built into their tires that non marking solid bobcat tires don’t. UV protection is important for tires that spend countless hours in the sun, as overtime, UV rays will degrade solid bobcat tires. Non marking solid bobcat tires don’t have UV protection built into the tire but this isn’t a concern as non marking skid steer tires are typically used for indoor applications. Despite this, in order compensate for the lack of UV properties of non marking solid bobcat tires, antioxidants are included in their composite in order to assist tires that may at times be exposed to UV rays.
Finally, carbon compounds in traditional solid bobcat tires gives them anti-static properties which is vital for workplace safety. Because non marking solid bobcat tires are not made of carbon, they don’t have anti-static properties which is troubling. Luckily this is easily fixed by using grounding strips.
