Asphalt Paving Projects often have extremely abrasive surfaces that eat through tires quickly. The EWRS-HS solid skid steer tire is made with these types of surfaces in mind. These applications require tires that are able to hold up to the harsh conditions. They need to not go flat, to last, and to perform. That's what we had in mind when making the EWRS-HS.
The EWRS-HS solid skid steer tire is, of course, a solid tire. It does not use compressed air to provide the flexibility the way a pneumatic tire does, it instead uses unique core geometry. Our core geometry allows the tire to flex similarly to a pneumatic tire without ever going flat. With the added benefit of shock absorption.
Longevity is another aspect we wanted in our tires. The EWRS-HS has a flat profile and increased ground contact area to minimize pressure on the ground. along with the design, the tire features the largest lugs in the industry at 52/32" deep with no center wear bar so you don't have to worry about constantly changing your tires.
The tire is built for better performance and comfortability. being a perfect rolling circle with a flat profile, the tire is able to skid on hard surfaces without bouncing. The Void space within the tread also acts as the grip so it doesn't slip when accelerating.
In addition to these features, the tire is easily serviceable. Built with rubber segments that attach to the high-strength steel rim, we were able to reduce the service tools down to just a 3/4 inch wrench. if a segment is damaged all you need to do is simply remove it and replace it with a new one in a matter of minutes.
